A drug and alcohol test and a basic DBS check will be carried out as part of the pre-employment checks for this role.
We are now looking for a 7.5 tonne Home Delivery Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Multi drop home delivery of furniture and white goods to customer homes - manual handling required
- Installation of washing machines, dishwashers and American fridge freezers - training provided
- Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Hold a valid 7.5 tonne Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Have recent 7.5 tonne driving experience
- Are comfortable with manual handling and working with a driver's mate
- Possess great customer service skills
