Shift patterns: 4 on 4 off - rotation between Days 6am - 6pm and Nights 6pm - 6am.

Location: Burton on Trent

We're now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Shunting - using a Terberg to move trailers allowing to be filled in the live production plant.
  • When live production is closed you will be required to drive on the road, delivering to warehouses and customers.
  • Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
  • Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
  • Regular completion of vehicle checks.
  • Manual handling of customer products.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

  • Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience.
