Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5pm (flexibility will be required, as you may be asked to stay on occasion)

Location: Bristol

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Planning regular transport lines and ad-hoc requests between UK and Europe
  • Requesting quotes and booking transport with third party carriers
  • Liaising with customers regarding transport needs and ensuring all relevant documentation is received
  • Sending customs clearance requests to DHL customs broker and entering arrival details for European customs
  • Tracking clearances and deliveries to ensure all transport requests are fulfilled as per customer request
  • Communicating with customers and carriers
  • Ensuring all documentation is correct and sent to loaders, carriers and arrival destinations in a timely manner
  • Creating goods movement reference when required
  • Updating KPIs with collection and delivery times for each transport request
  • Keeping European tracker updated
  • Assisting with cfx uploads and debrief payments
  • Inputting finance reports
  • Creating backup report to attach to customer invoice

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

  • Have a strong background in transport administration and general administrative support
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Have excellent time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
