Pay Rate: £29,725 - salary could increase after successful training and potential to learn/earn more through skill-based pay scheme, to be discussed at interview.

Contract Type: 12 Month Secondment

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 0800-1630 or 0900-1730

Location: Bristol Airport, BS48 3DY

What does the role entail?

  • Long-term resource planning, including maintaining staff rosters, scheduling training, and managing employee leave
  • Updating and maintaining IT systems used for payroll and workforce planning
  • Producing daily operational reports for site managers and onboarding new employees onto the payroll system
  • Managing a shared inbox, responding to queries and processing requests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and external agencies face-to-face, by phone, and via email

What do we need from you?

  • Proven experience in an administrative role (essential)
  • Strong IT proficiency, with confident working knowledge of Excel (essential)
  • Confident and proactive communicator, comfortable participating in one-to-one meetings, group discussions, and inductions
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrating a calm, friendly, and professional approach at all times
  • Highly organised, with the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changing situations

Security Process to work within Aviation and Travel at DHL:

  • Be able to provide 5 years address history
  • Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
  • To obtain a full airside ID
