At DHL, we manage the picking, packing and distribution of these orders.
No two days on our HMPPS contract are the same! As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play an integral role in the prisoners' lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.
What does the role entail?
- Assisting the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day running of the warehouse operation (based‑site at the prison)
- Line management of the Warehouse Team Leaders and overall supervision of the prisoners whilst they are at work
- Ensuring compliance to Health & Safety as well as prison rules and regulations
- Staff training and inductions
- Meeting and exceeding operational targets
What do we need from you?
- Current three years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance)
- The ability to work in a prison environment, alongside inmates
- Previous experience leading, managing or supervising a team
- IT literate to enable accurate and timely reporting
- Have a can-do attitude, right first time and passionate approach
- Enhanced security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this role
