A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Supervise the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve Operational Standards and defined outcomes for your responsibility area / shift approach.
- Ensure current processes established on Work Instructions and trainings on Excellence School.
- Report and investigate incidents within the workplace and respond to or escalate issues of non-compliance to safety regulations and procedures.
- Communicate Roles & Responsibilities applicable to your team (coordinators) and ensure they are trained and prepared to execute the expected activities (see Excellence School responsibilities).
- Implement Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) program on a daily basis to confirm behaviours and processes are followed as specified.
This Role Would Suit People Who:
- Have previous Operations Manager experience.
- Have the ability to deploy and change resource allocations during the shift in response to the changing requirements.
- Are IT literate, with Microsoft Office Packages.
- Possess coaching and active listening skills.
