Warehouse Shift Manager - Nights in Belfast

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Nightshifts- Mon to Thurs: Monday, Tuesday 7 pm to 7 am, Wednesday 7 pm to 7:30 am, Thursday 7 pm to 1:30 am Location: Belfast, BT5 6RG

We’re now looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager – Nights to take operational leadership and budget responsibility for managing a safe and efficient operation to help achieve operational standards and meet the agreed service level agreements.

Typical day may involve

• Demonstrate an active leadership style, taking full responsibility for driving an engagement culture in your area of responsibility
• Communicate objectives and KPI’s to your team, ensuring all colleagues within your team fully understand expectations
• Managing a safe operation and role modelling a Safety First Culture with all individuals in the operation by applying and improving the Safety Standards
• Ensure that Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) of operational processes are up to date, available at relevant place for employees and that employees are working according to the standard established
• Act as the first point of contact for the customer relating to site operation matters and build a good relationship to develop trust and ensure strong engagement

This role would suit people who

• Proven experience in managing within a warehouse
• Customer-facing experience is an advantage
• Ability to deploy and change resource allocations during the shift in response to the changing requirements
• Coaching and active listening skills
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team
