We’re now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Always drive safely and compliantly.
- Be legally compliant to the working time directive and EU Driving hours legislation.
- Maintain regular contact with the transport team.
- Always comply with local legislation requirements and company policies and procedures.
- To represent DHL in a professional manner to customers and always provide excellent customer service.
- Regular completion of vehicle checks.
- Manual Handling of Customer Products.
- Timely and efficient completion of deliveries and transportation.
- To undergo regular training and driving assessments.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Valid HGV License C+E (Class 1)
- Driver CPC certification
- Ability to move product in line with H&S regulation
- Previous experience of driving an artic truck
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
- Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions
- Knowledge of EU driving regulations and geographical area
