We\βre seeking a Baggage Supervisor to play an integral role in our aviation contract, delivering a first-class service and achieving fantastic results.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- Assist with the day to day running of all operations
- Effective delivery of our customers SOP S
- Manage and develop the consistent process for effective utilisation of staff minimising staff turnover and sickness through effective management systems
- To ensure consistent comprehensive practices are in place of all aspects of the company handbook e.g., Appraisals & performance management
- Good knowledge and delivery of OMS
- Develop and complete the daily shift handover and face to face team PD\βs
- Ensure all staff are fully updated and informed of all operational issues, company updates and station operational notices
- To effectively manage the BHU/IBB and Cabin Cleaning Colleagues within the operation ensuring their team is fully briefed
- Accountable to meet all on time performance targets set by the customer
- To ensure the smooth operation of the BHU/IBB/CC department, liaising with all departments Inc. and not limited to the SOC
- Conducting staff performance, appraisals and probationary reviews in line with Company Policies and Procedures
- Ensure all staff comply with the company safety standards by completing audits using iAuditor, GSR\βs
- Ensure that all staff fully understand that safety is the number one priority for the company
- Create and sustain a safe working environment and culture. Ensure all staff comply with the Health & Safety at Work act 1974 and Revisions
- Build good working relationships with third party providers
- Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times
- Any other reasonable duty as requested while on shift
