We're now looking for an experienced Van Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Delivery of palletised goods to customers UK wide in a 3.5 ton Bedford Van with tail lift.
- Liaising with customers at site drop off, and providing excellent customer service.
- Compliance with health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
- Regular completion of vehicle checks.
- Manual handling of customer products.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Hold a valid Class B driving License.
- Have no more than 3 penalty points on license.
- Have a minimum of 2 years van driving experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and good problem-solving skills.
- Experience of delivering goods UK wide.
- Flexibility regarding working hours - finish times will vary with this role, shifts can sometimes be up to 12 hours per day; overtime is paid at 1.5x after 8 hours.
