Warehouse Operative with Counterbalance FLT License

Location: Warrington - WA4 4SN.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time).

Pay Rate: £26,760.55 (£24,869.63 Basic plus £1,890.92 Shift pay). Potential to earn an annual bonus of £1,300.

Additional Compensation: Out-of-hours “on‑call rota” – one week in every four. Employees receive an extra £157.50 per on‑call week and additional pay for any site calls.

Shift Patterns: Rotational day shift pattern 0600‑1400 hours / 1000‑1800 hours.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Undertake manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
  • Pick and pack specified items from storage and prepare them for shipment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role, and familiarity with Manual Handling Procedures.
  • Counterbalance FLT License (essential).
  • Reach FLT experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience with preparation and distribution of volume orders.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage your own workload.
  • Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Own transport.
