Salary and Employment: £29,018.23 per annum. Grade: P. Contract: Permanent, Full Time. Location: East Midlands Airport. Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off rotational days, 07:00am - 19:00pm.
PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an Airport. The successful candidate will be required to undergo security vetting processes, including a criminal record check.
Role Overview: As a cleaning crew member you will play an integral role in the ground handling operation, working to tight timeframes while delivering fantastic results.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning cargo aircraft to a high standard
- Working quickly to meet tight deadlines
- Ensuring compliance with all security processes at East Midlands Airport
- Operating all equipment, as per training, to meet safety expectations
- Working in a safe and tidy manner
- Cleaning the pilot lounge, including drink, coffee machine and food replenishment tasks
- Making crew beds and cleaning bedrooms, organising linen delivery and collection
- Preparing aircraft bedding packs
- Cleaning the engineering hangar, including use of ride-on scrubber
- Completing catering requests and packing catering
Qualifications:
- Takes pride in their work
- Can work at a fast pace
- Prior cleaning and/or airport experience preferable
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Ability to react quickly and accurately to any situation
Security Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years UK address history
- Ability to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
- Full UK driving licence
- To obtain a full airside ID
