Join the World’s Most International Logistics Company. We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded Major Account Manager to join our DHL Express UK Field Sales team, covering Central London & South East London.
In this role, you will manage and develop a portfolio of major customers, ensuring DHL maintains its market‑leading position through exceptional service, strong relationships, and strategic account growth. You will play a critical role in meeting customer needs while achieving key sales and performance targets.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and developing existing major customers within your assigned territory, ensuring their needs are recognised and met.
- Building long‑term partnerships through regular customer visits.
- Driving growth through tailored commercial proposals, renegotiations, and targeted development plans.
- Managing customer information using internal sales systems to support seamless communication.
- Monitoring weekly/monthly account performance and taking action to respond to trends or risks.
- Securing competitor business within existing accounts by developing opportunity pipelines.
- Ensuring pricing guidelines, fuel surcharge compliance, and annual rate increases are achieved.
- Resolving discrepancies between actual and forecasted volumes through timely re‑negotiation.
- Promoting the DHL brand through professional behaviour and high service standards.
What We’re Looking For

- Experience within the domestic parcels sector.
Education:
- GCSEs in four or more subjects.
- A‑Levels in two or more subjects (desirable).
