Key Responsibilities:
- Manages and steers the Sales Steering and Performance Team in the country to ensure effective support of Sales channels and Trade Lane Team.
- Preparing quotations and contracts (incl. rate proposals and proposal writing).
- Supporting customer contact by preparing customer documents.
- Supporting the customer planning and implementation process.
- Providing customer information, supporting the identification and qualification of sales leads.
- Preparing business reviews as needed for all aspects of the sales function.
- Preparing monthly sales reports on all aspects of sales performance.
- Acts as coach for the Sales Steering and Performance Team.
- Managing the UK Sales Incentive scheme.
- Oversee the running of myDHLi.
- Ensures that all interactions are compliant with the DHL Group Code of Conduct and other compliance requirements e.g. anti-corruption.
- Contribute to the First Choice continuous improvement program.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of the global forwarding industry and the DGF business models.
- Well-developed management skills and collaborative leadership style to steer Sales Steering and Performance Team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to take ownership and proactively address topics.
- Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities.
- Experience with MS Office e.g. Outlook and with CRM tools.

HOURS/SHIFT PATTERN: 37.5 hours per week
