Role Overview
As a DHL Motorsport Trackside Operative, you’ll support/deliver on event logistic requirements to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Join us to work for an employer who rewards hard work and dedication with an attractive salary and job satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Main tasks at European events:
- Loading and unloading of trucks.
- Manual handling of equipment.
- High competence using a forklift.
- Work as part of a small team on various contracts, as required.
- Maintain admin and paperwork for both vehicle and deliveries.
- Face to face relationship with customers while on site at events.
- Loading and unloading of Airfreight and Sea Freight Containers.
- Experienced in airport pallet building, assembling and disassembling ULDs with loose cargo.
- Manual handling of equipment.
- High competence.
- Work as part of a small team on various contracts, as required.
- Checking dims and weight of freight.
- Face to face relationship with customers while on site at events.
Skills and Experience
- Availability to travel to European and International events (solo travel on certain occasions) which may entail and require extended periods away.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and overtime (night shifts on occasions that require).
- Interested and passionate about events logistics with multimodal transport solutions (air, sea and road).
- Open minded.
- Problem solving attitude.
- Customer care oriented.
- To work as part of a small team.
- HGV License - Preferred.
- Previous experience in Cargo Pallet building.
- IATA DG Training - Preferred.

Location and Reporting
- LOCATION: Official work location is Luton, however multiple locations dependent on event calendar.
- REPORTS TO: Trackside Operations Manager.
Please note: Due to the nature of our business we are regulated by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), therefore it is compulsory for all applicants once offered employment to provide a full 5 year employment history. Additional to this we are required to carry out a Criminal Record Check.
