Monday to Friday – 9 am-5.30pm – Manchester M17. Office based initially with the opportunity for hybrid working on completion of training period.

What you’ll be doing:
Supporting the business development team, you’ll focus on creating business opportunities, nurturing leads, and driving sales, primarily for our Air and Ocean freight forwarding services. Activity will include:
- Generating prospective customers and lead qualification using reporting mechanisms, HMRC, LinkedIn, Net Promoter Score, market research and Postcode searches
- Warm and cold calling
- Management of all leads and opportunities using Salesforce
- Support and drive site sales campaigns
What we are looking for:
Goal orientated with a “hunter” mentality and background in freight forwarding, logistics or courier sectors is essential. With B2B experience in a similar inside sales or customer facing role you’ll:
- Be tenacious and goal orientated with the ability to exceed targets and KPI’s
- Be able to build productive relationships in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Possess effective time and activity management skills
- Be familiar with systems such as Salesforce, trade databases, HMRC (trade), LinkedIn and other social media, Excel
- Be eligible to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
