Key Responsibilities
- Manage and steer the Sales Steering and Performance Team in the country to ensure effective support of Sales channels and Trade Lane Teams.
- Prepare quotations and contracts, including rate proposals and proposal writing.
- Support customer contact by preparing customer documents.
- Support customer planning and implementation processes.
- Provide customer information and support the identification and qualification of sales leads.
- Prepare business reviews as needed for all aspects of the sales function.
- Prepare monthly sales reports on all aspects of sales performance.
- Act as coach for the Sales Steering and Performance Team.
- Manage the UK Sales Incentive scheme.
- Oversee the running of myDHLi.
- Ensure that all interactions comply with the DHL Group Code of Conduct and other compliance requirements such as anti‑corruption.
- Contribute to the First Choice continuous improvement program.
Skills and Experience
- Strong understanding of the global forwarding industry and the DGF business models.
- Well‑developed management skills and a collaborative leadership style.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to take ownership and proactively address topics.
- Ability to handle multiple and competing priorities.
- Experience with MS Office (e.g. Outlook) and CRM tools.
