Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages and steers the Sales Steering and Performance Team in the country to ensure effective support of Sales channels and Trade Lane Team.
  • Preparing quotations and contracts (incl. rate proposals and proposal writing).
  • Supporting customer contact by preparing customer documents.
  • Supporting the customer planning and implementation process.
  • Providing customer information, supporting the identification and qualification of sales leads.
  • Preparing business reviews as needed for all aspects of the sales function.
  • Preparing monthly sales reports on all aspects of sales performance.
  • Acts as coach for the Sales Steering and Performance Team.
  • Managing the UK Sales Incentive scheme.
  • Oversee the running of myDHLi.
  • Ensures that all interactions are compliant with the DHL Group Code of Conduct and other compliance requirements e.g. anti-corruption.
  • Contribute to the First Choice continuous improvement program.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of the global forwarding industry and the DGF business models.
  • Well-developed management skills and collaborative leadership style to steer Sales Steering and Performance Team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to take ownership and proactively address topics.
  • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities.
  • Experience with MS Office e.g. Outlook and with CRM tools.

HOURS/SHIFT PATTERN: 37.5 hours per week

REPORTS TO: VP Head of Marketing & Sales UK
