37.5 hours per week | Mon – Fri | 09:00 to 17:30 (some flexibility in start and finish times) Hybrid working – office in Staines TW18/home

What you’ll be doing:
As our subject matter expert in RTR processes, you’ll provide business critical support to the Head of Accounting across compliance in internal control systems, working with auditors and balance sheet reporting, internal controls, statutory accounts and review and improvement of local and non-global processes. Responsibilities will include:
- Production of annual Statutory Accounts; liaising with external auditors for quarterly and annual reporting
- Managing Month End; supporting the accounting team and SSC in Month End Closing
- Assisting with Crest uploads and clearing of errors
- Reviewing and sign off designated Balance Sheet accounts within the RTR/IC areas
- Quarterly balance sheet risk and opportunity review
- Assisting with monthly forecast and annual budget of Indirect functions
- FTE Reporting
- Supporting Internal Control processes, ensuring required documentation is available
- Assisting with ad hoc projects/implementation of new initiatives
About you:
A technically strong finance professional from a mid to large sized company who can work effectively in a corporate environment with structured processes and can handle complex financial processes and documentation.
- CIMA, ACCA 1-2 years post qualified/newly qualified
- Strong Excel skills and ability to adapt to DHL's specific finance systems
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Be eligible to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
