What you’ll be doing:
As our Air Import Agent, you’ll play a significant role in overseeing the air import operations from our facility close to Glasgow Airport. Responsibilities include:
- Creating, managing and maintaining the movement of imported Air freight
- Liaising with airlines and DHL offices for Air freight planning and coordination
- Ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant
- Adhering to Customs Compliance procedures and documentation
- Being a customer point of contact for updates and addressing their enquiries
- Liaising directly with Carriers and Handling Agents to resolve issues as they arise
About you:
Experience in import/export processes (ideally in Air freight) is a must-have for this role. In addition, you'll have:
- The right to live and work in the UK – Note: sponsorship is not available
- Experience of HMRC procedures
- A high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Working knowledge of MS Outlook and data management systems
