Role Overview: Responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant air freight shipping of customer engines worldwide, providing technical advice, managing stakeholder expectations, and driving continuous improvement of SOPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide flawless service to ensure safe and compliant air freight shipping of customer engines globally.
- Offer technical guidance to stations, hauliers, and airlines to align handling and transport with SOPs.
- Execute SOP processes, ensuring all steps and milestones are met on time.
- Work closely with local DGF stations to ensure SOP compliance.
- Accurately calculate quotes to maintain compliance.
- Conduct pre‑shipment quality calls to confirm shipping plans.
- Communicate with suppliers, including truck companies and airlines.
- Liaise with customer contacts to understand requirements, manage expectations, and provide progress updates.
- Act as the liaison between shipper, consignee, DGF teams, suppliers, and the customer.
- Identify and resolve issues, finding solutions to keep the engine safe and meet customer expectations.
- Complete daily tasks in line with defined SOPs.
