(Warehouse Operative) Team Leader-HMP Bullingdon

Position: Warehouse Team Leader

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Location: Bicester, OX25 1PZ

Salary: £26,919.51

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday – 40hrs per week – Days

Note: The role is based within a Prison. Successful candidates will need to undergo an Enhanced Security Vetting Process.

HMPPS provides prisoners with the means to order goods using their own funds. At DHL, our role is to manage the picking, packing, and distribution of these orders. You will play an integral role in the prisoners\’ lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.

What does the role entail?

• Leading a group of prisoners in a warehouse environment, while also being hands-on with picking and packing
• Reconciling stock levels within the warehouse operation (based onsite at the prison)
• Managing the delivery of accurate and timely dispatch of orders to inmates
• Ensuring operational targets are met and exceeded

What do we need from you?

• The ability to work in a prison warehouse environment
• A good understanding of warehouse processes (desirable)
• Good communication skills across all levels
• Current 3 years of UK address history (mandatory for Enhanced Security Clearance)
