As a Drivers Mate, you’ll support deliveries to pubs, clubs, and hospitality venues, helping ensure products are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. This is a hands‑on role that offers plenty of variety and the opportunity to be part of a busy transport operation.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Supporting drivers with the delivery of beer kegs and cases to hospitality locations
  • Loading, unloading, and moving products safely using approved manual handling techniques
  • Checking products against delivery paperwork and reporting any discrepancies
  • Assisting with vehicle checks, debriefs, and end‑of‑shift tasks
  • Providing excellent customer service while working closely with drivers and transport teams

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

  • Are physically fit, as the role involves lots of manual handling
  • Have previous experience of working with volume orders
  • Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage their own workload
  • Have previous experience as a Driver's Mate or within a similar environment (ideal but not essential)
