Retail shop Team Leader in Swindon

Pay Rate: £26,919 per annum+ overtime for some hours
Grade: O
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time), 40 hour working week
Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7 (including working weekends), must be able to work an 8 hour shift anytime between 8am-8pm (08:00-20:00)
Location: HM Leyhill, GL12 8BT

We\’re now looking for a Retail Shop Team Leader who will play an integral role in the prisoners\’ lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.

✅ A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Leading a group of prisoners in a convenience store environment
• Reconciling stock levels within the warehouse operation (based on-site at the prison)
• Managing the shop floor, supporting inmates with any queries about the store
• Ensuring operational targets are met and exceeded

✅ THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Can provide three years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance)
• Are comfortable working in a prison environment, alongside inmates
• Have a good understanding of warehouse and/or retail processes – but it\’s not a deal breaker as we will provide full training!
• Have good communication skills
