Contract Type: 6 months FTC

Shift patterns: Wednesday/Thursday/Friday (27 Hrs)

Location: Swansea SA7

We're now looking for a Driver's Mate to play a key role assisting our drivers to deliver goods safely and on time. A typical day may involve:

  • Coordinating the picking and loading of alcohol onto your assigned vehicle prior to delivery
  • Accompanying and assisting driver with unloading deliveries at licensed premises or homes
  • Staying in touch with the transport team to advise of any problems
  • Completing relevant processes on an electronic handheld device

This role would suit people who:

  • Are physically fit as the role involves lots of manual handling
  • Have previous experience of working with volume orders
  • Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage their own workload
  • Can perform simple maths calculations
  • Previous experience as a Driver's Mate, within a similar environment would be ideal but isn't a deal breaker!
