Pay Rate: £32,000 - £33,000

Contract Type: Permanent (Full‑time)

Shift patterns: Monday – Friday – day shifts (early 4 am, late 10 pm)

Location: Heathrow Airport – TW6 2GA

A Typical Day May Involve:

  • Delivery of training courses to new and existing colleagues.
  • Conduct all Ground Service Equipment (GSE) training in accordance with current legislation and company requirements.
  • Devise, implement and conduct GSE operators’ courses.
  • Be fully conversant with and comply with all current company rules, regulations, procedures, processes and policies, reporting any breaches.
  • Display a professional image.
  • Provide and support all mandatory, compliance and induction training.
  • Identify, develop and design training interactions that contribute to the business, and comply with any industry standards and mandatory legislation.

This Role Would Suit People Who:

  • Have previous experience in aviation, a strong understanding of DHL’s safety policies and procedures, and extensive knowledge of airlines and airport authorities (desirable but not essential).
  • Possess strong teamwork and communication skills, working closely with a diverse group of colleagues and airline personnel.
  • Have good IT literacy with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
  • Have at least one year of experience delivering training (preferable).
  • Hold a Train‑the‑Trainer certificate or equivalent training qualification (desirable).
  • Hold a full UK driving licence (manual). Essential D1 on licence – preferable.
  • Have experience delivering aviation security training.

Security Process to Work Within Aviation and Travel at DHL:

  • To obtain a full airside ID, you must provide five years of address history.
  • Provide five years of reference history (employment, education, benefit claim, character).
  • Pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.
