We're now looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager / Ops Manager to lead our operations and drive success. If you're a proactive leader with a passion for logistics, we want you on our team!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Co-ordinate and lead the work activities of the shift, providing effective leadership, communication, motivation, training and development and team management for the workforce.
- Manage own staff on shift to drive a culture of high performance, positive engagement and the highest standards of safety and productivity.
- Ensure that team performance reviews, development and/or succession planning is completed for all staff on shift.
- Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
- Work in collaboration with other DHL sites and suppliers to maximise efficiencies and best practice.
- Organise and lead the focus on improved productivity levels.
- Operational process owners with authority to identify and make changes for improvement.
- Execute against customer requirements and operational KPI's.
- Produce end of shift analysis and provide data on achievements and issues.
- Ensure operational service levels are met and exceeded through the achievement of operational KPI's.
- Work closely with Senior Management to enable site to deliver on expectations and maximise any opportunities to further develop the site.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policy/processes.
- Actively work alongside direct and indirect internal and external stakeholders.
