We\’re looking for an experienced IT Manager supporting the East Midlands Gateway Multiuser customer site. Operating from our site just outside of Castle Donnington, the IT Manager has responsibility for the IT Services delivered at site, ensuring all services, applications and IT infrastructure stays fully operational.

The IT Manager takes ownership of all on-site based IT services. You will provide strategic leadership to a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts while driving a culture of Continuous Improvement and the uplifting of innovation and digitalisation initiatives in line with the IT growth performance agenda. This role requires a hands-on approach in providing first line support with hardware, software & end-user requests and at the same time, the ability to lead all development activities and projects such as system implementations and upgrades.

WHAT YOU\’LL DO

  • Managing the performance of the site-based IT systems (Blue Yonder Warehouse Management and core DHL IT systems) against SLA or OLA.
  • Analyse requirements, advise on and project manage system improvements and updates.
  • Coordination of daily IT activity and IT implementation activity within business area and ongoing support. You will be responsible for managing a team IT Analysts.
  • Ensuring engagement of customer, business resources & delivery of results.
  • Within this role, you will need to work with internal and external customers, suppliers, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders to collaboratively set exciting but realistic targets and define the action plans for achieving these aims following the business unit agenda.
  • Effective coordination of resources and communications.

WHAT YOU\’LL BRING

  • Drive Performance: Co-ordinate site-based IT activities, projects and implementations across the patch, ensuring operational impact is minimised
  • Innovate: Work with site-based teams to identify areas of development to the IT services
  • Lead with Purpose: Provide strategic leadership to site-based IT operations representing the IT agenda on site and manage and guide a team on IT Analyst.
  • Ensure Compliance: Manage IT suppliers, products, solutions and service management to defined standards and SLAs
  • Knowledge of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management (WMS) and Matflo (Warehouse Control System) and experience of core DHL IT Systems (DHL Link)
