Job Purpose:
As an Insurance Operations Analyst, you’ll support DHL’s global Insurance Operations team with a mix of administrative and analytical tasks. You’ll manage insurance programme processes, like premium collections and certificate issuance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
You’ll also analyze data using Excel and Power BI, create reports, spot trends, and provide insights to support data-driven decisions. Additionally, you’ll contribute to quality assurance, reporting, and change initiatives across insurance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Insurance Programme Administration
- Manage end-to-end premium collection, invoice tracking, and certificate issuance.
- Escalate delays or queries to ensure timely settlement.
- Monitor global premium performance and suggest process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-border IRM teams to maintain high service standards.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, validate, and analyze insurance operations data.
- Build reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
- Identify trends and support data-driven decision-making.
- Maintain and improve data quality and reporting standards.
Project Support & Process Improvement
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Support system or process changes, including documentation and testing.
- Provide administrative support for quality, change initiatives, and projects.
Your profile:
- 2–3+ years’ experience in insurance operations or financial services, preferably non-life insurance, with knowledge of IRM services.
- Strong analytical mindset and focus on process improvement, KPIs, and quality assurance.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills; experience managing, analyzing, and reporting large datasets.
- Excellent communication, ability to work with global, cross-functional teams, and highly organized to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with data cleansing, databases, integration, visualization, and data protection/warehousing.
- A-levels or degree in business, finance, data analytics, or related field.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
