Position: LGV Driver Trainer (DDA)
Salary: Β£36,803 based on a 42 hour week

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- Carry out, but not limited to, the training of drivers both FTE, approx 40 covering Class 1,2 and vans, & Agency including driving assessments, development indicators, licence checks and highway code test
- Conduct induction, performing 2 day driver inductions for all new starters
- Delivering Smith System Initial training to all LGV drivers and company car drivers
- Organising and booking of drivers CPC periodic training, delivering CPC modules and generating revenue where applicable
- Supporting tachograph infringements, reviewing and retraining drivers with regards to driver hours infringements
- Carrying out gatehouse & yard audits, responsible for performing 10% yard/gatehouse exit vehicle and driver checks
- Microlise training and admin, performing weekly conversations to action improvement areas
- Carrying out Delivery Safety Orders, prompting safety conversations and identifying training needs

- Minimum of 2 years Class 1 (C+E) driving experience is essential
- Operational & Transport experience with knowledge of Health and Safety within these environments

- Excellent organisational skills
- Demonstrates a positive and respectful attitude towards others, behaving in an honest, open and trustworthy manner
- Live locally to Wellesbourne and be also able to cover training requirements at our St Athan (S Wales) location as and when required
