LGV C+E Drivers (HGV Class 1) – Starts 01:00‑04:00 – Stoke on Trent

Pay and work: Pay Rate £44,177 per annum (based on a 48‑hour week). Significantly higher with shift premiums – potential to earn £48,000. Contract: Permanent full‑time.

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday – cover start times between 01:00‑04:00.

Location: Stoke on Trent, ST4 4EX.

Job Description:

  • Work pattern Monday to Friday, start times between 01:00‑04:00.
  • Execute a mixture of retail store deliveries, trunking, salvage collection, and shunting as required.
  • Use electric pump trucks or electric pallet trucks for manual deliveries.
  • Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
  • Maintain health and safety standards, comply with the Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E) with CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Minimum 1 year of commercial on‑road LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) driving experience.
  • Store delivery experience with double deck trailers.
  • Live locally in Stoke on Trent, ST4 4EX.
