A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Providing day‑to‑day SHE support and advice to ensure full compliance with statutory legislation.
  • Working in partnership with, and influencing, all operational teams and senior management across the site.
  • Meeting annual SHE objectives, measured through our performance management system.
  • Supporting the wider SHE function in delivering the business plan.
  • Coordinating and driving SHE initiatives, ensuring safety is embedded in every process and every team.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • COMAH experience/knowledge would be desirable but not essential.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven capability to develop and deliver improvement plans.
  • Experience of building strong customer relationships.
  • Strong previous experience/support of external audits.
