We are now looking for a Transport Administrator to provide efficient administrative support to our transport operation and ensure the smooth and compliant running of daily activities.
A Typical Day May Involve:
- Supporting daily transport operations by completing all required administrative tasks professionally and on time
- Allocating work to drivers and ensuring they receive the correct documentation
- Assisting with driver debriefs and checking paperwork for accuracy and compliance
- Maintaining accurate records relating to vehicle checks, tachographs, working time and legal compliance
- Liaising with drivers, planners and managers to resolve queries efficiently
- Assisting with incident reporting, absence tracking, and general office administration
This Role Would Suit People Who:
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics admin role (preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to work with drivers, planners and managers
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and transport systems (training provided)
