LGV C+E Driver (HGV Class 1) – Hams Hall
Pay Rate: LGV C+E – £41,958 per annum

These roles involve the heavy manual handling of kegs and barrels of alcoholic beverages. Previous dray delivery experience is an advantage. New LGV C+E passes are welcome if you are eager to learn and be part of our extensive training programme.
Qualifications
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Duty involves the delivery of alcoholic beverages – previous dray experience is an advantage.
- Role involves heavy manual handling of kegs and barrels of beer, including deliveries to public house cellars.
- Shift is Monday to Friday, available start times between 04:00-09:00.
- Candidates are expected to work a minimum of 6 Saturdays per year.
- Carry out between 10-17 drops to public houses – work involves manual handling and working with a driver’s mate.
- Drivers ideally will have a minimum of 6 months on the road LGV commercial driving experience.

- Be an Ambassador for DHL Supply Chain, with a can‑do, right‑first‑time and passionate approach.
- Enjoy working as part of a successful team.
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
- Be comfortable with manual handling items such as kegs and barrels to public houses.
- Previous dray experience is an advantage. New LGV passes are welcome.
