Overview
Join our team at JD Wetherspoon Daventry as a Customer Service Clerk. We're looking for a dependable, customer‑focused individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service. In this key front‑of‑house role, you'll help create a welcoming atmosphere, support smooth daily operations, and ensure every guest enjoys a positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring effective communication processes are maintained for both external/internal customers
- Process transferring, cancelling, and re‑keying orders accurately and within agreed cut‑off times
- Handle customer complaints, claims, part claim credits, and ROI queries in a timely and professional manner
- Manage inbound and outbound calls with pubs, transport teams, and internal stakeholders
- Work closely with the Shift Manager/Warehouse, Transport and Stocks
- Complete data collections and confirm data collection accuracy
- Maintain clear documentation for claims, cage issues, and customer contacts
Qualifications
- Previous Customer Service experience is essential
- Previous Operational/Transport experience would be desirable
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organisational skills, together with the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a demanding environment
- Experience of using WMS/tachomaster/Microlise would be desirable
- Good IT skills including all Microsoft Office packages
