As a Service Engineer within DHL Supply Chain, you'll play a central role in keeping our automated logistics operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently across multiple sites. You'll be working with advanced machinery and innovative technologies that sit at the core of our supply chain performance, ensuring they remain reliable and ready to support fast‑moving operations. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Provide high‑quality technical support, maintenance, and service for automated logistics equipment across operational sites, ensuring smooth and reliable performance.
  • Work closely with operations, workshop, and supplier teams to support assets throughout their entire lifecycle.
  • Manage and resolve tickets within the machinery support ticketing system, keeping issues moving and stakeholders informed.
  • Provide both on‑site and remote support to operations teams, maximising equipment availability and performance.
  • Assist with diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control‑system‑related issues across a variety of automated equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Hands‑on experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Minimum of an HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of relevant machinery standards such as PUWER and applicable ISO standards.
  • Full UK Driving Licence — Required for multi‑site travel.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and support operations across multiple sites.
