DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Class 2 Dray Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your duties, while maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Work on a Four On, Four Off schedule with AM start times between Midnight and 6am
- Collect paperwork from the Transport area for your destinations
- Deliver to various Wetherspoons pubs across England, averaging 3-5 drops per day, up to 6
- Deliver food products to Wetherspoons pubs
- Occasionally stay overnight due to driving hours, with accommodation provided
- Drive in busy centres such as Leeds, Birmingham, London
- Drive safely and efficiently, complying with Drivers\’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Adhere to health and safety standards, The Highway Code, and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
We\’d love to hear from you if you have the following experience, but don\’t hesitate to apply if you don\’t meet every criterion—we value talent and potential:
- Valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card – Essential
- At least 6 months experience as an HGV multi-drop driver – Desirable
- Experience in dray work – Desirable
