We are now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
- Multi drop delivery to pubs + clubs between 4-20 drops per day
- Manual handling required – will need to unload at customer site (mainly kegs of beer)
- Delivering down stairs, to cellars etc.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Have 6 months recent Class 1 driving experience (ideally 12)
- Are happy working in a highly physical role
