AVIATION EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE
Pay Rate: £37,080
Contract Type: 6 Months Secondment
Shift patterns: 5 On 2 Off
Location: Bristol Airport (BS48 3DY)
PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an Airport. You will be required to undergo Security Vetting Processes (including a criminal record check and counter terrorism check) if you are to be successful for this position.
DHL works in partnership with easyJet at Bristol Airport to provide all ground handling within their Bristol operation. No two days on our Aviation contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the ground handling operation, working to tight timeframes but delivering fantastic results.

What does the role entail?
- Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
- Compliance to GDP and GMP, where required, at all times.
- Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members
- Deliver team member performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as appropriate
- Facilitate effective communication between senior management team and colleagues
- Manage all disciplinary and grievance issues (complaints) in line with HR policy, manage absence through RTW's
- Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
What do we need from you?
- Aviation experience is essential
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in managing team in dynamic environment
- Good MS Office knowledge
- Managerial experience on similar level
- Security process to work within aviation and travel at DHL
- Be able to provide 5 years address history
- Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
- To obtain a full airside ID
