Stores Inspector – DHL Express
Working Hours: Permanent, full-time position – rotating day/night roster with weekend shifts included.
Location: EMA Cargo West, East Midlands Airport, Derby, DE74 2TR.

The Role
As a Stores Inspector you will be responsible for the receipt, control, storage, issue and shipping of aircraft parts. You will maintain accurate stock data on the company computer‑based stock control system and keep the company storage facilities to a standard acceptable to the Company and Regulatory Authorities.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a similar role would be desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Full UK driving licence and valid passport; a forklift truck licence is an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of procedures relating to the acceptance and storage of aeronautical parts.
- Five GCSEs – 9‑4/A‑C (or equivalent) including Maths and English.

- Strong administration skills with good attention to detail and the ability to adhere to policies and procedures.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work on own initiative without supervision.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload.
