We’re looking for a detail-driven, customer-focused Vetting Advisor to join our Recruitment & Talent team and play a crucial role in delivering a seamless onboarding experience for our colleagues.
The Role
As a Vetting Advisor, you will support the end-to-end recruitment process by delivering a first-class vetting and compliance service. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with company policy and regulatory requirements. You’ll also act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and candidates, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth onboarding journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and complete pre-employment checks, including 5-year background screening and DBS applications
- Review recruitment packs to ensure documentation is complete and compliant
- Liaise with candidates, hiring managers and third-party providers to progress vetting activities
- Support international background checks where required
- Investigate and resolve gaps in employment history and incomplete references
- Maintain accurate HR records using internal systems and spreadsheets
- Provide advice and guidance on vetting policies and processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of vetting processes
- Support onboarding and training of new team members when required
