DHL International (UK) Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic, people‑focused Senior Courier to join our high‑performing Operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead, motivate, and support a team of couriers while ensuring we continue to deliver the world‑class service our customers expect.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead & Support Your Courier Loop: Managing, coaching, and motivating a group of couriers to achieve productivity and service KPIs. Conducting performance dialogues, one‑to‑ones, and annual appraisals. Ensuring daily briefs, debriefs, and communications are consistently delivered.
- Operational Excellence: Covering courier routes when required due to planned/unplanned absences. Ensuring all deliveries, collections, and associated documentation meet DHL and network standards. Supporting route prioritisation, workload organisation, and local route knowledge needs. Monitoring performance trends and addressing underperformance where needed.
- People, Safety & Customer Focus: Always representing DHL professionally and enhancing customer satisfaction. Ensuring safety standards, regulatory compliance, and security protocols are met. Identifying sales opportunities, business at risk, and customer insights. Supporting the Operations Manager when required.
What You’ll Bring

- IT‑proficient and comfortable using company systems
- Strong communicator with a “can‑do”, positive approach
- Experienced courier with supervisory experience (preferred)
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in a multi‑drop courier role.
