Position: RPS Coordinator

Contract Type: Permanent – 40 hrs per week

Location: Ryton on Dunsmore

Shift: Monday – Friday / 07:30-16:00

Salary: £27,950

About the role:This role forms part of the Loss Prevention team and is focused on minimizing company losses by managing unidentified freight. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately logging all items into the RPS database to support freight recovery and repatriation. Where repatriation is not possible, the role involves coordinating with the Loss Prevention Co-ordinator to process items for auction and manage any associated queries or returns.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Identify all freight within the RPS Department where possible and repatriate where possible.
  • Log all freight onto the online reporting system.
  • Ensure all freight not identified is presented ready for auction.
  • Liaise with Operations and Transport as required for movement of presented freight and transportation to auction location.
  • Liaise with Loss Prevention Co-ordinator ensuring all reporting and requests are dealt with in accordance with set timescales.
  • Complete full and concise handovers with the coordinator, recording details as necessary.
  • Ensure effective operational communication including meetings, handovers and reporting.
  • Work in conjunction with the Loss Prevention team.
  • Build and maintain positive relations with colleagues and 3rd party visitors and assist in company initiatives utilising skills and expertise of the team to facilitate.
  • Attend training courses suitable for the role.
  • Attend other sites from time to time to assist with RPS training.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Basic computer skills using Microsoft suite and email
  • System data entry experience / knowledge
  • Good communication skills
  • Good observation skills
