Role Description

The Hair Transplant Doctor is responsible for performing DHI Direct Hair Implantation session, providing high-quality medical care to patients seeking hair restoration treatments at DHI's London Area clinic. This full-time, on-site role includes conducting comprehensive consultations, diagnosing hair loss conditions, and recommending appropriate treatment plans aligned with DHI protocols. The doctor will perform hair transplant procedures and related medical interventions using established methodologies and advanced technologies, ensuring safety, precision, and patient comfort. Daily responsibilities include pre- and post-operative patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating with clinical staff, and adhering to clinical governance and regulatory standards. The role also involves contributing to ongoing training, quality improvement initiatives, and patient education to support excellent clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Medical qualifications: Possess a valid medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and full registration with the relevant medical council in the United Kingdom.
  • Work permit in the United Kingdom.
  • Specialized expertise: Experience in dermatology, trichology, cosmetic medicine, or hair transplant surgery, with a strong understanding of hair loss diagnosis and treatment options.
  • Clinical skills: Proven ability to perform minor surgical procedures, maintain sterile technique, manage anesthesia appropriate to hair restoration, and oversee pre- and post-operative care.
  • Patient-centered care: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain treatment plans clearly, manage patient expectations, and provide empathetic, inclusive care to diverse patients.
