Utility Surveyor Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum, depending on experience Location: Crawley Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Utility Surveyor to join a growing and professional team delivering specialist surveying services across a range of construction, infrastructure, utilities and development projects. The Role As a Utility Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out accurate and compliant utility surveys across a variety of sites and projects. You will work within PAS 128 environments, using industry-standard detection equipment to locate, identify and map underground utilities and services, providing accurate information to support a wide range of construction, development and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities * Carry out utility surveys in accordance with PAS 128 standards and project requirements. * Accurately locate and identify underground utilities and services. * Confidently operate EM locators, CAT & Genny and other utility detection equipment. * Use GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) where required. * Produce accurate survey information and maintain high standards of data quality. * Work safely and efficiently across a variety of sites and working environments. * Manage your own workload and ensure projects are completed within agreed deadlines. * Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, site teams and colleagues. * Identify and report potential hazards and follow all relevant Health & Safety procedures. * Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and industry standards.
