Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machinist to join their team in an onshore machine shop role. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established oilfield machinery supplier based in central Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up CNC programmes, including checking first-off runs
- Machine preparation of valves and associated equipment prior to welding
- Carry out machining and finishing of valves and equipment following welding and PWHT (Post Weld Heat Treatment)
- Conduct in-process inspections on manufactured and re-worked components
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with valves or similar precision components (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Standard hours (Apply online only) Monday to Friday, overtime available. This is a permanent role with a very competitive remuneration package.
