We are looking for a Junior Software Tester to test healthcare software applications built in-house at Dedalus in Leeds, UK.
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and execute test cases, scripts, and plans to validate healthcare software functionality, usability, and performance.
- Conduct manual testing on the Dedalus OneX application suite to identify defects, verify functionality, and assess usability.
- Collaborate with customers, developers, and healthcare professionals to understand application requirements and ensure they are met in the software.
- Identify, log, and track software bugs and issues, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure software meets regulatory requirements such as WCAG2.2 and adheres to healthcare industry standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation on test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
- Create reports to communicate test results to stakeholders.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes, tools, and techniques.
Essential Requirements
- Pro‑active, self‑motivated team player eager to continually develop themselves.
- Knowledge of Office 365.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with development teams and healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail to identify issues and inconsistencies.
Desirable Requirements
- Healthcare experience.
- Experience in agile or other software development methodologies.
