Vacancy: Modern Horticulture Apprentice at Logan Botanic Garden
A fabulous opportunity for someone to start their horticultural career.
We are excited to announce that, with philanthropic support from Baillie Gifford, the Holywood Trust, the Finnis Scott Foundation and Lady Elliott’s Charitable Trust, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person with an interest in gardening, horticulture and the outdoors to work and train in our Garden at Logan in Dumfries & Galloway as a Modern Horticulture Apprentice. Modern apprenticeships are primarily for those aged 16-24 years old, although there is no upper age limit.
During the two-year placement, you will learn all aspects of horticulture and spend time in each area of the Garden at Logan. As well as gaining practical horticulture experience, you will also attend SRUC on a block release basis where you will work towards gaining a horticultural-related qualification.
