Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a range of commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical & electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Complete MOT preparations and safety inspections to industry standards.
- Conduct breakdown repairs, including occasional roadside assistance.
- Accurately complete all job cards, reports, and paperwork.
- Work independently & as part of a team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- HGV Class 1 or 2 licence beneficial but not essential.
- Flexibility for occasional call-outs or overtime.
- Commitment to health & safety and high-quality workmanship.
