Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a range of commercial vehicles.
  • Diagnose mechanical & electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
  • Complete MOT preparations and safety inspections to industry standards.
  • Conduct breakdown repairs, including occasional roadside assistance.
  • Accurately complete all job cards, reports, and paperwork.
  • Work independently & as part of a team to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
  • Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent preferred).
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • HGV Class 1 or 2 licence beneficial but not essential.
  • Flexibility for occasional call-outs or overtime.
  • Commitment to health & safety and high-quality workmanship.
