DGMHA is a registered Scottish Charity, established in 1988, providing care and support for people across Dumfries and Galloway, whose lives are affected by mental ill-health. The Board of Trustees are the governing body for the Association.

We have a strong vision and drive to deliver excellence in person centred care and support, seeking to empower and build confidence in the people who use our services, to lead healthy and fulfilled daily lifestyles.

Our Care Home service are looking for a full time support worker to join the staff team within the residential setting for up to ten residents.

You will ideally have experience working in a social care environment and relevant qualifications but this is not essential as full training and support will be provided. We do however, require candidates who have a good depth of awareness, understanding and experience of Mental Health and have the ability to create, develop and drive forward personalised support plans, you will be given support and leadership from a designated Manager and Deputy Manager.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG check.
